This isn’t the first time where Stephen Curry was trolled for his size. The GSW superstar has constantly been trolled for his height on the court. In that lineup, he recently found himself amid a meme fest after his first outing against Chet Holmgren. The 7′ 2 Oklahoma City Thunder rising star has been making waves in the league with his skills near the rim. Notably, he almost restricted the mighty Dubs in the In-season tournament on Friday night.

The #2 pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, Holmgren, missed out on the previous season due to an injury. However, this season, he has already attracted the fans’ attention as the ROYT contender, competing against Victor Wembanyama. While the hype around 7′ 2 star is already high, his first match-up against Steph also got a lot of eyeballs witnessing the event.

After a nail-biting finish to the game, Holmgren and Steph exchanged their jerseys, leaving the crowd in glee. Following that, the Warriors’ official X handle shared the picture with the caption, Heck of a game. Respect, @okcthunder.”

However, fans online chose to focus on something different on the snap. One user, commenting on Steph’s bare body, “Damn Steph going commando out there.” Meanwhile, another user trolled the superstar for the height difference between the players. He said, “curry is pocket size.” Here are some reactions from fans.

As a poetic finish to the hyped match-up, the game-deciding bucket was in the hands of Steph and Chet.

Steph vs Chet at the end

The stage was perfectly set for Stephen Curry and Chet Holmgren to prove themselves. Steph had the ball in his hand with less than 15 seconds left in the game. He had to take the shot to seal the game. Instead of doing what he does the best, three-pointers, he ran down the lane for a lay-up against Holmgren and successfully dropped over his long wingspan. After a long break, the refs made the controversial call and credited Steph for the bucket.
