The Phoenix Suns started an impressive NBA season after finishing fourth in the Western Conference last season. Superstar Kevin Durant is in tremendous form and shape from game one. Having scored a staggering 39 points in their last game loss against the Lakers, there were high expectations from him.

Thankfully, he did not disappoint his fans in today’s game as well. He scored 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists in only 29 minutes that he was on the field. However, Durant is not very pleased with the team’s performance even after winning against the Utah Jazz by a hefty 126-104 win. What can be the reason behind his displeasure?

Are The Suns relying too much on Durant?

It is expected of Durant to not be extremely pleased with his team display since the loss against the Lakers was just 2 days ago. Even though he scored a good number, he feels that there is so much more than that. In a video uploaded on X (formerly Twitter), a glimpse of his post-match conference is seen.

“Taking 20-plus shots is not really my game unless I really have to,” said the star forward. He was seen taking many forced shots. Other than Durant, Eric Gordon, and Grayson Allen were impressive.

Suns Racing for The NBA Title

The Suns have a roster that is capable of winning the title. Players like Devin Booker, Jordan Goodwin, coupled with Kevin Durant himself can give a tough time to their West Coast opponents.

The Suns will be facing Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on 1st November, 2023. With a win in hand, their confidence levels are expected to rise. Durant’s exceptional spells are adding more to the Suns squad.

With so many game-changing options on the field, it would be surprising if the Suns could not make it far enough this time. Will they be able to shock the opponents in more such stunners like today?
