The Milwaukee Bucks easily handled the Denver Nuggets, securing a 112-95 victory. The focal point of the Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo, delivered an impressive performance, contributing 35 points and 18 rebounds to the win. However, rather than his monster performance, Giannis was awkwardly asked about scratches on Nikola Jokic’s arms post-game, but the Greek Freak had a hilarious response.
Antetokounmpo continued by acknowledging that he also endures scratches on his arms during games, although they may not be as prominent as Jokic’s due to differences in skin tone. Playfully comparing his scars to Jokic’s, the 29-year-old expressed affection for the scratches on his arms, revealing that his significant other finds them attractive.
“I think you see scratches because he [Jokic] has lighter skin than me. I have a lot of scratches on my arms too. My significant other thinks it’s sexy so I love it,” said Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo essentially conveyed that enduring scratches and physical contact is just part of the daily grind for an NBA superstar. He downplayed the significance, indicating that it’s nothing out of the ordinary for him. Consequently, he suggested that the media shouldn’t overemphasize Jokic’s scratches during the game against Milwaukee.
Despite finishing the game with impressive stats of 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists, Jokić’s shooting percentage from the field was below his usual standards, going 13-of-25. Nonetheless, this performance still outshines many others. Additionally, his +/- score of -16 was atypical for the Nuggets star.
Antetokounmpo concluded the evening with a 14-19 shooting performance, boasting an impressive 73.7% field goal percentage. This victory held considerable importance for Doc Rivers, who had recently assumed the role of head coach for the Bucks.
