But hey, on the bright side, at least it’s an upgrade from his 2K24 rating of 89. On top of that, another star player took a hit in his rating despite having a solid year.

Devin Booker’s rating has dropped from 94 to 93 in the new 2K

Even though the Suns got swept by the Timberwolves in the first round, Devin Booker was still putting up solid numbers—over 27 points, nearly 7 dimes, and more than 4 boards a game. And you can’t sleep on his Olympic run with Team USA, either. Alongside Curry and LeBron, Booker was clutch, averaging 11+ points and shooting a wild 56.5% from three. Folks were saying he was one of the main reasons they brought home gold. So, to see his rating drop after all that?

“Expected a big year from Devin and the Suns actually,” Ronnie 2k said. And with a Big 3 like KD, Booker, and Bradley Beal, who didn’t? Everyone thought the Suns were going to be unstoppable. But even though the team didn’t meet those sky-high expectations, Booker’s game stayed on point. His assists jumped to almost 7 this season, way up from 5.5 in 2023! Despite the struggles, Book was still out there doing his thing, making plays, and leveling up. Did the Suns’ poor performance play a role in Booker’s rating drop?

But then there’s Zion Williamson, who got hurt in the postseason and didn’t even have that great of a year—his numbers dipped to just over 22 points and almost 6 assists a game. Yet somehow, his 2K rating hasn’t budged, still locked at 88. Yeah, he played 70 games, which is a big step up from the 29 in 2023, but his stats took a hit, and that should show up in his rating! It’s hard to figure out how 2K’s ratings even work sometimes.
