The Milwaukee Bucks finished last season on a sour note. They were well and truly beaten by the seventh seed and their bogey team, the Miami Heat. It was yet another disappointing end to the season after dominating the regular season. But we should give the Bucks the benefit of the doubt as they were without their two best players: Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. After a full offseason, the Bucks fans can?t wait to see the two suit up for the new NBA season.

Recently, Giannis Antetokounmpo?s 3x All-Star teammate was on the receiving end of some disrespectful comments by fans.

Khris Middleton was an integral part of the Bucks squad when they won the NBA title back in 2021. He put up some clutch performances in the finals to help Giannis win his first NBA title. Khris dropped a playoff career-high of forty points in game 4 of the NBA finals vs. the Phoenix Suns. Last season, Middleton missed most of the Bucks playoff games vs. the Heat due to a knee injury.

In a recent interview with Complex Sports, he reacted to fan comments. On I Got Time Today, a fan criticized him ?Don?t never let Khris Middleton in another All-Star Game, please?. To which Khris responded, ?First of all, the English is terrible. You don?t say ?don?t never?. I even learned that in school?. Khris also responded to a fan who stated ?If Khris Middleton didn?t get hurt, Milwaukee would?ve went back 2 back?. He said, ?I like the confidence you have in me and I have the same confidence in myself. So I?m gonna agree with you on this tweet right here, my man?.

The Bucks hierarchy has shown faith in Khris Middleton by handing him a contract worth $102 million dollars. The contract will tie him down till 2025 at least. With Giannis putting pressure on the Bucks to build a competitive team, signing Khris to a deal is a step in the right direction to make Giannis happy. And hopefully, convince their franchise cornerstone to stay in Milwaukee for the foreseeable future.
