While rejoicing after tying the knot with his longtime partner Mariah, the couple did not forget to showcase their little ray of sunshine. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his wife have three kids- Liam, Maverick Shai, and Eva Brooke. And roughly a week after marriage, and 2x NBA MVP celebrated their baby girl’s first birthday! Eva was born in September 2023, and her mother shared some precious moments from what looked like their first proper photoshoot.

From a heartwarming snap of the two parents kissing their child to Eva and her siblings having a good time together, the carousel included all those family moments to cherish! Mariah also penned an emotional note on her IG post. “Happy 1st Birthday to our little princess. The sweetest little girl in our house full of crazy. Mommy, daddy and your brothers love you, baby girl 💛🍦” 

Mariah is a lot more vocal about her feelings for her family on social media. Just recently, she posted a whole load of pictures of her wedding reception too. It was a star-studded night with Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday, among others, to bless the Greek couple. She also posted snippets from her party with her friends in her wedding gown while vacationing in Greece. It included a carousel with her hubby on the streets of Greece, captioned, “The good life! Taking over my instagram again!! 🇬🇷🤎🧿.”

Another precious moment from the wedding that Mariah posted was her engrossed in the company of her friends on a yacht. The sizzling pics from the mother of three, along with her friends, had the caption, “Had to throw a party for my day ones 💍🥂”

While all the updates to the fans came from Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s wife, the hooper, however, doesn’t have the same approach with his social media. He is not as expressive as his wife. But on today’s day last year, he just couldn’t resist!

He shared a cute picture of his newborn daughter alongside her little brothers. Eva was lying in her car seat while Maverick and Liam posed on either side. Along with the picture, the former NBA champion also shared an adorable note that read, “Welcome Home Eva Brooke Antetokounmpo 🤍 Daddy’s Little Girl and Brothers’ Baby Sister 👦🏽👦🏽👧🏽”

When it comes to family, the Greek Freak goes all out. Currently, he’s spending time with his close ones and enjoying a vacation in Greece, pictures of which went viral. These social media carousels aren’t the first time the hooper has shown his emotions in front of the camera. His 2019 MVP award acceptance speech was a testament to the aforementioned claim regarding the NBA champion.

In 2019, the Bucks had lost the Eastern Conference Finals to the Raptors. Yet Giannis Antetokounmpo clinched the MVP title, beating Paul George and James Harden. As he stepped up to the podium to deliver his speech, tears rolled down his eyes while thanking his mother Veronica, his late father, and his siblings. “We started from nothing as a family and we are going to be in every stage that we can be as a family.” When Giannis was figuring out his way and struggled for citizenship papers, it was his family who did not let him fall. His father kept encouraging him to pursue his dream.

“When you hear your name up there on the stage and then you realize these years of hard work, what you did in the past, then you start getting emotional,” the Bucks forward had said in an interview backstage answering why he cried during his speech. It was quite beautiful to see how close Giannis Antetokounmpo has been with his family over the years. And with him now married, the hooper and his family will look forward to many such moments to come their way!
