James Harden officially requested a trade out of Philadelphia. After averaging, 21 PPG, 10.7 APG, and 6.1 RPG, Harden wants out of Philly. Now, there is still speculation as to why the 10-time All-Star has requested a trade. After all, last season was historic for Philly. The team boasted the league’s leader in points in Joel Embiid and the assist leader in Harden.
But whatever the case, Houston Rockets legend Tracy McGrady certainly does not agree with Harden’s request. McGrady recently sat down with GQ Sports to talk about what’s going on in the league these days.
He went on to shed light on the number of future Hall-of-Famers Harden has shared the court with. McGrady said, “I don’t know what he’s looking for. And maybe there’s some internal bullsh*t that is going on that we don’t know about.”
One question that had T-Mac irked was the fact that James Harden requested a trade away from the reigning MVP, Joel Embiid. The trade request made by James Harden made no sense to McGrady. T-Mac went on to highlight how Harden has an opportunity to play for a contender in the Eastern Conference and win a championship ring. Yet he wants out of Philly.
McGrady ended his answer with, “Get over it, man.”
