Stephen Curry coaches his son
In an Instagram story, Stephen Curry shared an interesting nugget titling it “#Fundamentals”. His five-year-old son Cannon Curry is practicing hoops. In the clip, he is attempting a no-look shot not far away from the free-throw line. He is in the center, aligned with the basket. In his first attempt, the arc is on point, but the shot lacks the power.
Upon watching this, Curry advises, “oh that was perfect, still need to go harder”. During his second attempt, Cannon applies more power to his father’s suggestion. The ball first spins around the center of the basket and then drops in after a roll. This makes Steph jovial, and he does a “Yooohooohooo”.

Surely, sharpshooting runs in the blood of the Curry family. For a five-year-old to make such a difficult shot and turn it around after a single piece of advice. The genetically gifted Cannon also showed great ball collection after his father passed the ball. For someone his age, his dynamics are incredible and it shows that he has worked on his game a lot already. Having the coaching of someone like Steph is surely going to nurture his game. But this is too early. Will he even stick with basketball?
