Almost six months ago, Jayson Tatum‘s second signature sneakers hit the shelves. A lot has happened since then. The power forward led the Celtics to their 18th NBA championship and helped Team USA win Gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics. JT’s impact as a player was so great that he also appeared on the cover of NBA 2k25! Therefore, building on his Celtics’ success, Jordan Brand is officially launching the hooper’s third signature basketball shoe. Mark the date, October 10, when the JT3 series will hit the shelves.
Jayson Tatum’s sneaker series reigns as ‘the lightest’ in the Jordan Brand basketball collection. The 26-year-old St. Louis native aims to bring unmatched style and comfort with the third series, continuing his relationship with the $7 billion brand.
As you can guess, the design and idea behind all the pairs have been mindfully curated. The Celtics, Jayson Tatum’s family, and son Deuce have had a huge influence on the designs yet again. JT expressed, “I don’t take having a signature shoe for granted. I’m grateful to be in a position where I can co-create with Jordan Brand and have fans connect with me through my shoes.”

“My favorite part of the 3s is the way they take on color, so my hope is that we inspire and energize a lot of people through the colorway storytelling,” the hooper continued. The Jordan Tatum 3 will be released globally on October 10 at jordan.com and select retailers. Prices are set at $125 for adults, $95 for grade school, $75 for preschool, and $55 for toddlers. His signature apparel collection, featuring both streetwear and sportswear, will also launch in October.

Jayson Tatum’s Jordan Tatum 3 series is an extensive collaboration with the Jordan Brand. The idea of this series popped up as a need of the hour. They met his need with a shoe that feels ‘broken’ in right out of the box and adapts to the foot without restrictions or pressure. JT3 incorporates insights from athlete movements, featuring a supportive, non-bulky upper designed for power and comfort.
Cushlon 3.0 foam, Zoom Air, and a firm frame ensure smooth lateral movements, while a ‘herringbone traction pattern’ aids quick stops and cuts. Inspired by Jayson Tatum’s fluid play and family commitment, its design includes lines symbolizing his approach and family tree. Like the Jordan Tatum 2, it features his son Deuce’s name inside the tongue, his JT logo, the number 0 on the heel, and unique sayings on the heel tabs for each colorway.
The collection consists of four designs. First, we have “Welcome to the Garden” showcasing Jayson Tatum’s career growth. The sentiments also include his bond with his family and friends, and his pursuit of greatness on the way. With bright green and black colors, the beautiful floral motifs add to its uniqueness.
Second, the “Zero Days Off” is simply a spin-off on the hooper’s daily grind to improve. The Celt’s tireless chasing for glory and beyond.
Then we have the “Zen”. The idea behind it- calm under pressure. A perfect way of describing Tatum on the court. Surely, the hooper faces criticism from his detractors but never lets the pressure settle in. Moreover, the Zen colorway of the new Jordan Tatum 3 is all about that balance. Soothing shades of gray mix with just the right amount of energizing color.
Last, the “Sidewalk Chalk” is an ultimate tribute to JT’s son, Deuce. This colorway is inspired by playful childhood moments that Deuce spent with his father, drawing on sidewalks.
Jayson Tatum’s upcoming sneaker project looks promising. His previous collections have been a public favorite and surely the JT3 would be no exception. He first unveiled the new silhouette via the NBA 2K25 cover, followed by his trip to China with fellow hoopers, Luka Doncic, Paolo Banchero, and Zion Williamson. Be sure to keep an eye on the brand’s website to not miss out on the launch!
