Every single passing day is a day closer to the end of TNT’s Inside Guys. Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and others have openly accepted their union’s fate after the end of the Western Conference Finals series. However, the crew saw a shimmering hope when Luka Doncic and Joe Pompliano, a sports personality, highlighted the rare possibility of keeping the show alive. Nevertheless, it came crashing down with a new accusation on Draymond Green that backtracked the TNT’s future with the NBA.
A recent ‘The Athletic‘ report stated that the Minnesota Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards decided to boycott their interview with the Inside Guys to support Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. Notably, over the last few weeks, the crew, especially Green, who joined them for the postseason, went after the duo with feisty criticism.
Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves chose to boycott interviews with "Inside The NBA" to support Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert, sources tell The Athletic.
That chemistry will give Minnesota a foundation to build upon going forward.

Draymond Green didn’t miss a chance to run down his hate on Gobert whenever he had the opportunity. The French man did have a tough series against Nikola Jokic & Co. Speaking of his one-on-one battle against the Serbian center, Green said, “Barbecue chicken is happening. It’s happening… DPOY versus MVP… Rudy Gobert don’t stand a chance.” Most importantly, he said, “Rudy sucks,” to shut down the heckling Wolves fans on national television.
On the other hand, Karl-Anthony Towns received a similar treatment. Recently, he went viral for his “1500 shots” claim, and Shaq & Co. were all over him and trolled him for “Capping”. The Dubs star didn’t show mercy on Towns as well. After the Game 5 defeat against the Nuggets, Green pointed out Town’s limping and stated that the 7 ‘1 star had lost belief and declared the Nuggets as the winners of the series.
Nevertheless, it was KAT, who won it for the Wolves at the end. And Green received his fair share of backlashes from fans for failing miserably with his predictions. All these while, Green’s actions only affected him, but now, it could put the show in further trouble.
Fans furious over Draymond Green’s blunder, “Clowns and clowning”
It would be unfair to blame Draymond Green for wrecking a show which has already found its expiry date. But that isn’t the case. Luka Doncic, speaking to the Inside crew, after the WCF win, said, “You ain’t done yet. We gotta figure out something.” Moreover, Joe Pompliano formed a scenario where he stated NBC’s dependency on TNT to strike the deal.
While these positive updates brought the necessary hope for the fans, the latest update from The Athletic pulled everything down. In response to the accusation, fans swarmed the social media comments to rip apart DrayMagic for jeopardizing TNT’s chance to hold to the league’s media rights. Here are some reactions from fans.
It was a no-brainer. They took the attack directly to Draymond Green and TNT’s choice to bring him into the show. A fan wrote, “It’s almost as if letting an award-winning studio show get taken over by clowns and clowning has consequences.”
It was bullshit that they brought Draymond on for the series in the first place. The dude literally put Rudy Gobert in a chokehold without provocation during the regular season. https://t.co/tEFqbVS0yn

Another fan rightfully brought out the controversial on-court actions of Green to the limelight and questioned TNT for signing him up. The league suspended the Dubs star twice in the season over his ugly physical altercation with players. Building on that ‘chokehold’ controversy another fan dropped an interesting take. They wrote, “Draymond clearly had a personal and unprofessional agenda. Players should not be required to engage with demeaning coverage.”
Great job, Draymond. Go fuck yourself. https://t.co/gcWN2JJqTP

Another fan had an interesting way of looking at the issue as they questioned the Timberwolves’ management instead. The fan wrote, “I can’t stand Draymond, but this is weak.”
