“It’s your world, man” – This is what Barack Obama said when LeBron James visited the White House after his first NBA title. Well, the Akron Hammer seems to have taken the suggestion seriously. Eleven years later, Former POTUS only has words for praise for the 4x champion amid his historical season alongside his son, Bronny James. Besides his awe for King James’ longevity, Obama also dropped a promising statement for the 20-year-old.
Basketball isn’t something alien to Obama and he doesn’t shy away from making strong opinions. For instance, the 63-year-old has made his pick on the G.O.A.T debate by suggesting it has always been Michael Jordan. It probably might never change. In the latest podcast, DeepCut with VicBlends Obama once again weighed in on the debate saying, “LeBron is making strides in the GOAT debate. Not quite because look, his career is not over yet. And we don’t know how many more rings he might win.”
Nevertheless, keeping the polarizing debate aside, Barack Obama had something more wholesome to say about the James duo. VicBlends, the show’s host, asked the No Drama Obama to speak about the first-ever father-son duo on the court. Before even getting to the subject, he tipped his hat to James by saying, “First of all, the fact that LeBron can even move at 40… It’s more than impressive. It’s a freak of nature. Phenomenon, that’s going on.”

Following that, Obama moved on to speak about the duo, he added, “He’s (Bron) still playing at such a high level, and for him to be able to share that with his son is remarkable,” and followed it with an attestation for Bronny James. Barry further said, “I haven’t met Bronny, probably met him when I was really young, but I haven’t met him recently. By all accounts, you know he’s trying to earn his spot, he’s working hard, he’s doing the right thing. He’s a good young man. I wish them all the best,” adding his part in the historical run. But what exactly is the historic moment that Obama was talking about?
