The Indiana Pacers have been shocking the NBA world with every match they play. They are the team who are defying the expectations of every person who thought that the Railroad City was not strong. However, the sole reason for their sudden rise in the league and their performance is the rising star of the NBA, Tyrese Haliburton. This 23-year-old player is impressing everyone in the league due to which he is the talk of the town. Due to his spectacular performance against the Milwaukee Bucks in the semi-finals of the inaugural In-Season tournament, the Pacers have reached the finals and will face the City of Angels.

Tyrese Haliburton is playing his second season in the NBA and in such a short time has made a name for himself. The transformation of the Indiana Pacers is caused due to something called the “Tyrese Haliburton Effect”. Not only is he displaying his skill set in every game, but due to him, his teammates are also getting uplifted. One of his teammates, Bruce Brown Jr, was in the winning squad of the Denver Nuggets just last season. Now, the former champ is comparing Haliburton with his ex-teammate Nikola Jokic after witnessing Haliburton’s performance against the Bucks.

He said, “He (Tyrese) thinks two plays ahead of the defender, and that’s elite, he just brings it out. When you talk about controlling the game, being super smart out there, IQ, he has it all. I mean, what, he had 15 assists tonight with no turnovers? That doesn’t happen. I’ve only seen that with Nikola”. While comparing him to the current MVP is too soon, there are hints of Jokic’s distinct playmaking skill in Haliburton’s game.

Due to his performances, Haliburton is forcing the NBA world to acknowledge him and the Pacers. His memorable 27-point, 15-assist, zero-turnover masterpiece against the Milwaukee Bucks has got him into the spotlight. If he continues to have this form, he has a chance to even win an MVP this season.
