Bryce James has been the center of major media houses since he made the move from Sierra Canyon High School to Campbell High. Additionally, LeBron James made it well evident that he longs to play with his sons in the NBA, making their every move even more important.

The 16-year-old Bryce James plays in the position of a small forward, being 6-foot-6. With an average of 7.6 points in 15 games, the Nike EYBL 16U circuit exhibited what the future holds for little James. However, the success would happen so quickly that the fans didn’t expect it.

A Buffet for Bryce James

LeBron James, with his child prodigy, made an unofficial appearance at the Ohio State football team’s game against Maryland on Saturday afternoon. It was only a few moments after the game that the 2025 Hoops (Bryce James) recruit received a scholarship offer from Buckeye’s mean basketball program.

The 6-foot-6 small forward took to Instagram shortly after receiving the offer. The caption was: “Blessed to receive an offer from Ohio State #GoBuckeyes.” Not only did he make this announcement himself, but detailed coverage was already done when he was talking to Ohio State men’s basketball coach Chris Holtman.

It’s highly dicey which team the young James will go with. However, predictions are that his recruitment will surely be kept under wraps, as was done with Bronny James, until D’Day.

“They Look Alike”: Bryce is still better than Bronny

With the frenzy of comments earlier this year over the similarities in their features, their game was also compared. The comparison came from ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, who has studied LeBron since his high school days. In a conversation with Bill Simmons, he claimed that Bryce might have the chance to get drafted before the elder one.

He said, “I think [Bronny] is going to go to college, maybe for multiple years,” Windhorst said. “The one thing we know is that, for somebody to jump right into the NBA or be [in college] a year and be ready, it’s usually somebody that’s in the top five, six, seven, eight, or nine players in any top 100 ranking.”
