The new GM of the Phoenix Mercury, Nick U’Ren, who switched from the Golden State Warriors, along with CEO Josh Bartelstein, went on a coaching hunt, and they hit the jackpot. Former assistant coach of the Portland Trail Blazers and Cleveland Cavaliers and presently dealing with the Orlando Magic, Nate Tibbetts is a golden find for the Phoenix Mercury.

Appointed as the new team coach, the Mercury will be his first women?s basketball coaching job with no prior experience with an all-women’s team. To state some stats about Mercury, the team had the league?s worst record last season at 9-31.
