Zion Williamson took to the latest episode of Gilbert Arenas’ podcast?Gil’s Arena?as the special guest. The NBA star had a free-wheeling conversation with the veterans who host the show.
Speaking of injuries, Williamson explained how badly he missed all the action. “I don’t want to be on the sideline,” he said. “You all think I want to sit over there, hurt? I don’t. But uh, like coach K taught me. Gotta honor my responsibilities. There are a lot of things that I could have done better and I’m in the process of fixing those wrongs.”
Hearing this, all the hosts funnily remarked Williamson was sounding like he was a 30-year-old. Gilbert Arenas and others assured him that he got ample time to bounce back stronger.
Earlier this off season, Williamson was in the news for a wrong reason. As he and his girlfriend Ahkeema shared the happy news of expecting a baby, adult film star Moriah Mills claimed she and the NBA star were dating. She dissed the two-time All-Star for having a baby with Ahkeema instead of her. Furthermore, Mills said she could also be pregnant. The adult film star even threatened she will release s*x tapes with Williamson. But now, it seems, the star has regained his focus.

During the recent conversation, the hosts said Zion Williamson looks healthy, and the bunch dived deeper into his gym routine. Williamson pointed out that his major goal is not weight loss. Rather, he wants to work and improve flexibility, which, according to him, will ensure a long and fruitful stay in the league.
Just like Williamson, Arenas too has been marred by injuries in his career. So Arenas gave the 23-year-old an advice: “It is unwise to show others that you are hurt. But one has to wait till the injury subsides and show what they really are and what they can do.”
