However, due to his global impact, a billion-dollar sportswear brand signed a lifetime deal with LeBron James.

Just like Michael Jordan, James also has his own signature line of shoes called ?LeBrons?. These shoes are very popular and have over 100 colorways and about 20 models. And, during a match, James decided to honor the Colorado Buffaloes coach by dedicating a shoe colorway to the coach?s signature shoes.

On May 22nd, 2003, he signed a seven-year, $87 million contract with Nike. This contract was a tribute to his extraordinary talent and promise. Many other companies, such as Reebok and Adidas, were also interested in his services. James had Reebok offering him $115 million and Adidas offering less than $60 million.

LeBron James became the face of Nike from that moment on, promoting the company throughout his distinguished career. James and Nike accomplished an amazing milestone in 2015 when he inked a record lifetime deal. It projected that this historic agreement is to be worth $1 billion. 5 years from today LeBron paid a heartfelt tribute to Colorado coach Deion Sanders. During his match against the Houston Rockets, James debuted a new colorway of his LeBron 15 called ?Diamond Turf?. Sanders? signature shoe holds significance due to the same name and colorway. His shoe was called the Air Diamond Turf, which debuted in 1993. Currently, the LeBron 15 Diamond Turfs are not available for retail purchases, although people can cop the shoe at resale stores. But this tribute to Deion Sanders by James occurred because James is a fan.

James fanboying over Coach Prime

Deion Sanders, aka ?Coach Prime,? guided the Colorado Buffaloes to a 45-42 win over the 17th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs in their first game. The win symbolized the beginning of the next phase in Colorado football, with an amazing team of 87 newcomers. The Buffaloes surpassed TCU in an offensive shootout, gaining 565 total yards. In particular, four Buffaloes receivers broke the 100-yard mark in a single game. After the Buffaloes win, LeBron James took to social media to appreciate the team and their coach. He reposted literally every post of the Colorado Buffaloes and captioned it with the bowing down emoji. This shows his love and support for the team and the coach.
