Steve Kerr is a die-hard Dodgers fan. So, Friday must have been the best day of the week for all fans like him. An intense nail-biting World Series game unfolded between LA and the Yankees. At one point, when it felt like Shohei Ohtani and Co. would never make it, Freddie Freeman rose to the occasion. One walk-off grand slam and THE END. During the halftime of the Dubs’ second game, Kerr checked his phone and saw the scoreline as 2-2. “I didn’t know anything that was going on after that point,” he said post-game. Well, as the game moved ahead, Steve Kerr got busy with his NBA business. However, he had an informer behind him who kept him updated on the Dodgers’ progress in Game 1.

“I did not [watch the grand slam] but the guy in the first row right behind me gasped,” Steve Kerr shared. “There was a dead ball and the guy said, ‘Oh my god. He did it. He hit it out.’ And I said, ‘Who?’ He said Freeman, and I was like, OK.” Well, his excitement and ear-to-ear grin have considerably upset the Dub Nation. How can a person coaching San Francisco, support a team from LA?! Fans demand that the Warriors front office fire the 59-year-old legend. “Fire Steve Kerr,” they say.
