Dillon Brooks, known for his unique on-court antics, made quite a name for himself during the first round of the NBA playoffs. His infamous gestures towards LeBron James solidified his status as the newest NBA villain. However, despite his various attempts, the 27-year-old could not disrupt King James’ mindset. Currently, he is gearing up for the 2023 FIBA World Cup as part of Canada’s national team. Interestingly, this summer has been a tremendous success for Brooks.

While representing Canada, he has averaged over 10 points per game with a remarkable 50% shooting accuracy from beyond the arc. Furthermore, he has showcased elite-level wing defense and delivered several clutch shots for his nation. However, in a recent game against Luka Doncic-led Slovenia, Dillon introduced another captivating antic to assert his presence on the court.

Amid the FIBA World Cup, Dillon Brooks continues to pull off attention-grabbing stunts. Brooks found himself in the spotlight in a high-stakes showdown between Canada and Slovenia, vying for a spot in the semifinals. Initially, Brooks received a less-than-warm welcome from the crowd during pregame warmups, marked by boos and jeers. However, the atmosphere didn’t deter his upbeat spirit.

During the fourth quarter, Brooks was ejected from the game for taunting a Slovenian player after sinking a three-pointer. Brooks then opted for an unconventional post-ejection move. Instead of resting in the locker room, he stood defiantly in the tunnel, fully geared up with boxing gloves.

Unlike his usual antics, it celebrated his team’s success this time. Canada defeated Slovenia 100-89, securing a place in the Final Four. As he joined his teammates and officials in the tunnel after the game, Dillon Brooks playfully acknowledged their victory with some light-hearted jabs. Brooks had scored 14 points before leaving the game.
