Savannah James has been lately attracting more eyes than her husband. Alongside her podcast’s co-host April McDaniel, she discussed relationships, and Savannah shared glimpses of what she really cares about. They talked about regrets, the intangible value of relationships rather than material possessions, and the significance of seeing the positive side of life even in difficult situations. The duo also laid emphasis on how important it was to acknowledge both the good and bad moments that life brings.
Savannah James declared that gifts weren’t her love language, stating, “Not the things. Everybody cares about the things. My love language is not gifts. I want to spend time, I want to talk. Don’t get me wrong. It’s nice, every now and then, but that’s not”. Later, the conversation transitioned to self-reflection and acknowledging both the positive and negative aspects of relationships. Here, Savannah revealed a past trauma, saying, “I felt so heavy and like icky and I did not know why, and then I figured it. I mean, I sat in it for a bit. I didn’t like…I was a little bit upset with myself”.
“Like ‘Why do I feel like this like this? This is stupid like why’. But I sat with it. I figured it out it came to me why I was feeling that way and I’m like okay. I acknowledged it and I did what I needed to do to move forward with it,” Savannah concluded, on Everybody’s Crazy. Well, she finally understood the root of her discomfort. However, this wasn’t an isolated incident; something similar had happened to her and LeBron James back in high school, causing significant challenges for the young couple!

For this part of the story, we’ll roll back the calendar. A high school romance blossomed between Bron, then a rising college athlete, and Savannah. Their story echoes classic teen films like “She’s All That,” where an ordinary girl falls for the school’s most popular athlete. In this case, it was LeBron. Their relationship attracted a lot of resentment and even hatred. She’s previously revealed the struggles she faced because of bullying from those who disapproved of the relationship.
Savannah explained, “I had to defend myself. I had a lot of that. I had girls who didn’t like me and couldn’t tell nobody why they didn’t like me. My whole group of friends, it was tough. It was a lot.” April McDaniel offered her perspective, suggesting that some girls might have been jealous of Savannah’s relationship with LeBron.
However, that’s all chatter of the past. Marching through all the challenges they faced early on, LeBron and Savannah James are considered a Hollywood power couple today. Unlike many celebrity relationships, this one has endured for a long time. Without a doubt, the James household including Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri, is a happy one! Much of the credit goes to the couple’s unwavering commitment to each other. Thankfully. LeBron’s rise to fame and fortune hasn’t changed him, and we can only hope their love story continues forever!
