Steve Kerr wants to be very cautious about one thing. Guess what? Stephen Curry‘s well-being. It’s natural for the 59-year-old head coach to focus on his star player, the Warriors’ main man. Therefore, having the superstar point guard on the sidelines these days seems a bit too normal. Is it helping the Dubs to win games? No. But will it help in managing Steph’s tendonitis? Hopefully so. Thus, when he missed the game vs. Indiana Pacers on Friday, the 36-year-old knew he had to do something special to make it up to his young fans.

Given the difficult times South California is going through right now with the Palisades wildfire causing havoc, every game on the slate becomes an emotional one. Besides, we know how connected Steph is with his fans, especially the little ones, so he made sure he added some magic to their day in the Bay Arena. So, what did the Baby-Faced Assassin do?

Curry felt bad about sitting out on Friday due to injury management. He decided to invite some little fans to the game to meet him after it was over. All the kids wearing Stephen Curry’s jersey and cap sat in anticipation of their hero’s arrival. And when he did, their faces lit up with delight. The Warriors star also clicked pictures with his fans.

Stephen Curry is currently averaging 22.7 ppg, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists. He has a crazy 44.6 FG% which for some odd reasons seems low. Well, for the shooting maestro, even 100 FG% would seem low. Anyway, coming back to his sweet gesture for the kids, Stephen’s sentiments surely come from the fact that he is the father of four lovely kids. And he’d never want to see them sad. Therefore, he had to go the extra mile to put a smile on those tiny faces.

Amidst the stressful and heartbreaking times in San Francisco, Curry is doing something to keep the minds off the destruction, even if it means for a short while. Meanwhile, his wife Ayesha has sent messages to the ones affected by the LA wildfires.
