One fan pointed out that questioning Curry’s position as a point guard just because he plays the position differently is nonsensical. They argued that Curry’s unique style of play is innovative and has changed basketball with his three-point ability.
Magic Johnson invented the triple double? Are we just forgetting Big O? Yes, Magic Johnson changed what a pg should look like. But so did Steph. Questioning if he’s a pg makes no sense to me just cuz he plays the position different. That’s innovation.
