Despite Looming 4 Year “Doping” Ban, Jimmy Butler a Big Fan of ‘Guilty’ 30YO Soccer Star Paul Pogba

Jimmy Butler‘s long list of friends includes some of the biggest athletes in the world. During the last season’s playoffs, we saw him with superstar Neymar Jr. The Brazilian also cheered for his friend during games, sitting courtside. However, Neymar isn’t the only prominent name in his contacts.

The Miami Heat forward is also quite popular among the ladies. Just a few months ago, his name was being linked to Shakira. Although their story didn’t go much farther, the short stint was surely entertaining. Recently, Butler showed his support to another one of his friends who is going through a doping investigation.

The last season was phenomenal for Butler. Especially during the playoffs, the 34-year-old was on a golden run, breaking records and taking his team further in the process. Although the Heat didn’t make it all the way through, Butler’s heroics were something the hoop world will remember for years.

Now just hours away from the beginning of a new season, the 6x All-Star has already made his intentions clear. He’s coming for the throne. But before that, Butler took an opportunity to show his support for his longtime friend Paul Pogba, who is facing serious allegations.

The French soccer star has been accused of doping. Two weeks ago, his B sample confirmed the drug tests were positive. Following the confirmation, this violation of the rule may land him in big trouble. Pogba currently represents the Juventus soccer club based out of Italy. Pogba’s current Juventus contract fetches him a whopping ?130,000 a week in earnings, which is certain to be scrapped away.

Additionally, Pogba might be seeing a four-year ban in the coming days. Amidst all the hardships faced by the 30-year-old, Butler decided to back his friend. He posted an image of himself playing cards while wearing a Pogba jersey.

Butler’s support should not be seen in support of the allegations, but just as a person backing his friend in this tough time.

During the preseason media days, Butler debuted his “emo” version to the world. In addition to shocking people with his style, the Heat star made his intentions known to all about the upcoming season. He said that the Miami franchise will make its way to the NBA Finals this year and will end up winning it all.
