The LA Lakers registered a thrilling 134-131 win against the Washington Wizards yesterday. However, Grammy-winner Rapper Lil Wayne did not leave happy from the Crypto.com Arena after finding himself in a dispute with the security staff. Soon after the incident, Wayne took to Twitter to express his disdain and claimed he was “treated like sh**.” However, in a much calmer zone, he addressed the whole incident and even offered his flowers to Lakers superstar LeBron James.

Appearing in the show Undisputed with Skip Bayless, Wayne addressed the issue, “I was asked to be there so that’s why I was like wow you know I didn’t expect the security guy to to know that I was asked to be there to promote something but I just kinda you know, I would have rather had a smoother smooth entrance.”

Before Skip Bayless could throw some shade on Lebron James, Lil Wayne cuts him short and expresses his admiration for King James “Actually Skip no I think if Bron would’ve caught a glimpse of something like this happening, I think Bron’s humility level is through the roof. Bron probably would’ve called the timer just to make sure that didn’t happen. He’s a stand-up guy and the things he do off the court for other people is unmatchable.”

Lil Tunechi began the conversation with Skip by stating, “They were just doing their job, so, when I got there, we tried to enter at one entrance of the court. Security was like, ‘No you guys have to go to the other side.’” Notably, the rapping mega-star also accounted for the setup of the court, and how the behavior of security could have easily hampered the courtside experience of other celebs as well.

Courtside Conundrum for Lil Wayne eased by LeBron James?

Wayne further explained that he was initially directed to an entrance that would’ve forced him to disrupt other celebrities and fans already settled in their courtside seats. He then returned to the original entrance but was denied entry by the same guard once again.

“When I started walking to my side, the guy was like, ‘Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah [in a gesture of stopping them].’ So when I looked at him, he was like, ‘I told you guys to go to the other entrance.’ He looked right at me and it. I was like, ‘that’s a little much’ so I didn’t say anything, and was like, ‘Let’s just leave,‘” Lil Wayne said.

Lil Wayne also addressed previous comments he made regarding trading Anthony Davis, “he ballin’ out. Even when we take an “L”, he ballin’ out dropping like 40.” Further, Wayne maintained the idea that he was being punished for how he spoke about Anthony Davis on television, Lil Wayne said, “I believed that. When I tweeted that, that was raw emotions, but that’s all facts behind my opinions. I did feel like there was something about the whole A.D. thing where it was like, ‘We don’t need this guy.‘”

When asked how Wayne feels about returning to a Lakers game, he responded, “I wouldn’t mind but its what it is. You know obviously, that didn’t feel too good, walking out of there and going in to be turned around. That didn’t feel too good so I’m not sure…but my son loves the team and he loves going to the games so for him, for his benefit I’ll be right there front and center.” But knowing that Wayne admires LeBron James, he might just be regular still!

The Lakers sitting in the 9th place in the Western Conference have their next showdown with the reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets the current number 3 seed in the West.
