With the new Netflix basketball series Staring 5, featuring stars like LeBron James, Anthony Edwards, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum, and Domantas Sabonis, there’s a ton of buzz. But not everyone’s feeling the hype—Jeff Teague is among those who aren’t exactly thrilled about its arrival. Let’s dive into why he’s not feeling the hype.

“I would say NBA players more chill on the day to day, like it probably ain’t going to be as entertaining. I mean, it’s going to be entertaining but not as the football players,” Jeff Teague said on Club 520 Podcast. While NBA life might not be as high-energy, it’s generally less stressful, with meetings and other stuff being pretty laid-back.

On the flip side, one of the co-hosts pointed out just how intense the NFL grind is. NFL players are always on the move, working really hard to earn their paychecks. They’re practicing hard, playing games on Sundays, and maybe taking a Monday off if they win, only to jump right back into practice. He didn’t hold back, criticizing the added games on the NFL schedule and saying it’s putting way too much pressure on the players.

The hustle and dedication on the court are just as intense, making it a wild ride for both fans and players. So, the question is will ‘Starting 5’ be able to topple Netflix’s NFL venture, Quarterback?
