The Minnesota Timberwolves are on a roll, with the best record in the NBA at 15-4. Due to their spectacular success, their head coach Chris Finch has been named the Western Conference Coach of the Month for October and November. However, despite their recent success, Finch continues to motivate his team to avoid them from getting too comfortable. Anthony Edwards, the cornerstone of the Timberwolves, has been the driving force of the team. But it is because he has the support of the 31-year-old center, Rudy Gobert.

Rudy Gobert’s remarkable performance on both sides of the floor has been one of the driving elements behind their success. As the club prepares to play the ailing San Antonio Spurs, Gobert’s efforts take center stage in the squad’s quest for a fifth straight win.

Rudy Gobert delivered an outstanding effort in the Timberwolves’ recent victory over the Charlotte Hornets. Gobert scored 26 points on 10-for-12 shooting, displaying an excellent mix of post moves, mid-range shots, and timely finishing around the basket. Not only that, he even managed to deliver 12 rebounds, showing his dominance on both sides of the court. Looking at his performance, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins praised him on social media.

He said, “I’ve never seen Rudy Gobert play with this type of force on BOTH ends of the floor. That Anthony Edwards energy is contagious I see!!! Real Talk”. Gobert not only adds a dynamic layer to the Timberwolves’ offense but also has gotten a better understanding of his role in the team. He has a constant presence for creating opportunities for his teammates by setting screens.

Coach Finn, however, understands and appreciates the efforts of Gobert’s center position for the team. Not only on the offensive side but by showing his dominance on the defensive end, Gobert has earned the trust of his coach. The Stifle Tower has been crucial in understanding and breaking the opponents’ offensive strategies, making the Timberwolves one of the league’s best defensive teams.
