Like the NBA, the WNBA is also on a meteoric rise. Not only does the league consist of exceptionally talented players, but the matches are also fun and interesting. Due to this, the league is receiving tremendous support from NBA athletes and other celebrities. In fact, the WNBA team Chicago Sky, is owned by the NBA Legend, Dwyane Wade. Also, one of the former Bulls players had come to support the Chicago Sky.
A former Chicago Bulls player who is also a 2x NBA All-Star came to watch the matchup between Chicago Sky and Las Vegas Aces. Although the team he was supporting suffered a loss, the game was very close and had the audience at the edge of their seats.

Las Vegas Aces overcome half-time deficit for victory
The Las Vegas Aces produced a miraculous comeback to defeat the Chicago Sky with a final score of 94-87. This thrilling matchup left spectators on the edge of their seats. Faced with a daunting 13-point halftime disadvantage, the Aces demonstrated their perseverance and courage, finally establishing why they’re a WNBA force to be reckoned with.

The Las Vegas Aces showed great teamwork and individual skill, especially with their dynamic duo, Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray. Young is currently the highest-paid WNBA athlete securing an average annual salary of $252,450. By her spectacular performance against the Sky, she proved that she is worth every penny. Young’s outstanding effort included 24 points and 10 rebounds. This not only powered her side to victory but also represented a key career milestone as she exceeded 2,000 career points.
The match was special in itself, but it became more special with the presence of Joakim Noah. He is a 2x All-Star and was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Noah even helps the community in a major way. He has a foundation called Noah’s Arc whose mission is to impact kids in underprivileged areas of the city through art and sports.
He had come to the WNBA game in support of Chicago Sky, who unfortunately lost against the Aces.

Dwyane Wade’s investment in the Chicago Sky
The NBA legend and Chicago Native Dwyane Wade purchased a stake in the WNBA team, Chicago Sky. The ownership stake of Wade was not revealed yet, but his investment was valued at the team’s valuation, $85 million. Due to this Wade becomes the second NBA player after Magic Johnson to have a stake in a WNBA team. He is a well-known basketball player with three NBA championships and 13 All-Star appearances. Additionally, he is also known for his business expertise and charitable contributions.
