At 38, LeBron James is not showing any signs of slowing down his momentum. This was evident from his domination of the inaugural In-Season Tournament. He accomplished something that no one has ever done before, solidifying his place in the books of history once again. In addition to taking home the IST Championship, he was named the tournament’s MVP.
Playing his 21st season in the league, it looks like Bron still has a couple of years to crunch out before saying his final goodbye. However, former Celtics‘ star and co-host of the Point Forward podcast Even Turner has a unique take on the King’s recent achievement. He opines that Bron’s level of dominance in the IST, for instance, was leagues apart from the rest, almost to the point where it’s unfair.

Then comes the million-dollar question: Is LeBron just better than anyone else in terms of skills, game IQ, and physicality, or are the younger players not doing enough to be on that same level? Well, Turner has one answer to this, “I don’t expect the youth to be ready for him.” For him, the blame goes to three people; Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to him, they are supposed to be the ones next in line to take out Bron, Abdulwho he says is “still a freak of nature.” Turner blames these veterans because he knows that the younger ones are just not ready to level up to the King, let alone take him out.
