The Las Vegas Aces demonstrated their offensive power by dominating the Chicago Sky 107-95 on Tuesday night at Wintrust Arena. With an impressive 27-point performance, Kelsey Plum led the charge for the Aces, who improved their stellar 22-2 season record. A’ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray both contributed significantly, each scoring over 20 points. Gray added 22 points while handing out 9 assists, and Wilson tallied 24 points. By matching her career best of 17 rebounds, Kiah Stokes showed her domination on the glass.

However, despite winning over Chicago Sky, the team failed to win over NBA fans. They succeeded in garnering criticism from brutal fans over their latest game.

Las Vegas Aces garners criticism from fans

The Aces regained their stride in the opening quarter of a game that featured high-scoring surges from both sides. The Aces’ attack was ignited by A’ja Wilson’s 7 straight points. They finished the quarter on an 8-0 run to take a 30-26 lead. Las Vegas maintained the lead and dominated the game throughout, shooting an incredible 57.9% from the field. And they dominated without having Candace Parker on the roster. The forward did not participate in the game as she recently underwent successful surgery on a fracture in her left foot.

Meanwhile, ESPN recently posted a highlight of the game on their Twitter handle. In the clip, we can see the Aces making an effortless basket with the ball barely touching the floor.

With a style of play reminiscent of the Golden State Warriors, it was truly a sight to behold. The team was in sync, anticipating each player’s moves.

However, a few NBA fans weren’t too happy with this particular move.

NBA fans react to Chicago Sky’s defense

A few NBA fans were baffled by the fact that the Aces made a basket while the ball barely touched the floor. Many were of the opinion that Chicago Sky put forth a weak defensive performance. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it.

A fan tweeted, “End the season bro”.

However, many brutal comments followed soon. Some compared it to a movie!

 

A fan stated that WNBA isn’t fun to watch.

A fan pointed out that the players walked on the court. Furthermore, they suggested that the players could have dribbled the ball.

Meanwhile, a fan trashed the Chicago Sky’s defense.
