Before 2009, LeBron James was everything the basketball fans could ever talk about. But then that one Davidson graduate and turned the trajectory of the league. Stephen Curry redefined sharps-shooting and etched his name amongst the GOATS of the NBA. And now at 36, in his 16th season like father Dell Curry, one question continuously troubles the Curry fans: Is the end around the corner?
ESPN’s Malika Andrews reminded Steph that he is just like his father in the sixteenth season. So, how much thought does Curry put into how much longer he wants to play? Is retirement on Stephen Curry’s mind?
“More than I’ve probably had before. I think, you know, it’s okay to accept and acknowledge that the end is near at whatever point.” So, the Baby-Faced Assassin is actually thinking about when he’ll hang his boots. He continued: “Only because it allows you to enjoy what’s happening right now. But, I think the more you talk about it the more you acknowledge it, and it levels up. Just the sense of urgency of the moment now,”

Stephen Curry always has a smile on his face when he’s on the court. He’s aggressive, he’s fierce, but the point that he never skimps on enjoying the games, especially now does prove his point. So, as of now, Steph isn’t going anywhere. But as he stated, ‘the end is near’. How close? Not sure.
Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors‘ slump continues and Steph is finding himself caught in the whirlwind as fans are slowly turning into critics of the team.
Stephen Curry promises to play better for more wins
Monday’s game night could’ve turned out differently for the Dubs. But well, the Basketball Gods said, “Nope, not today.” Losing 105-111 to the Indiana Pacers before the home crowd in Chase Center seems like the Warriors’ daily bread and butter. Moreover, Stephen Curry had a tough night, finishing with just ten points, five rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks while shooting 2/13 from the field and 2/9 from the three-point range.
After the game, the future Hall of Famer made a bold statement when he met with the media. With a disappointed expression, the 36-year-old guard said: “I gotta play better and I will, but I think as a whole, we’ve just gotta maintain our confidence in what we’re doing and not have those spurts where we give a team life.”
