The Golden State Warriors player, Curry is putting in a tremendous effort to steer the ship amidst challenging times for the team. To avoid a disastrous downfall and fourth defeat, the Warriors relied on Curry’s stellar performance against the Brooklyn Nets. He scored an impressive 37 points, with 16 of them coming in the fourth quarter, leading Golden State to a hard-fought 124-120 win. However, the Warriors would have been almost close to falling apart if it were not for Curry’s part.

Talking about the 4x champion’s crucial role in the game, Warriors head coach Kerr stated, “He’s had to carry this team, let’s be honest, for the first quarter of this season…I would say by the time the Clipper game started, those previous few days were tough on everybody…So I thought we were a little emotionally spent that game…but we’re home and it’s a chance to get recharged and get back on the right track.”

As mentioned by Kerr, while Green received a 5-game suspension, the 4x champion had a big responsibility on his shoulder. Recently, Green faced another ejection. The NBA authorities have suspended Draymond Green indefinitely for hitting 7ft player Jusuf Nurkić in a game against Phoenix Suns. This was his third ejection this season.

The NBA authorities said in a statement Wednesday night that “This outcome takes into account Green’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts.” and Green will be “required to meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play.” Previously, Green was given a 5-game suspension after his act of putting Rudy Gobert in a chokehold. While Kerr has been silent on the matter, it is quite evident that the team needs Green. What are your thoughts on this story? Let us know in the comments section below.
