Things between Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat are quickly turning ugly. There’s not much more to say about the six-time All-Star’s post-game press conference following Miami’s loss to the Indiana Pacers. Butler, who suited up for his second game after a five-game absence, scored just nine and went 3 out of six for shooting.

After the game Butler did not hold back, “I want to get my joy back” said the Heat star, and when asked if he believes that he can get that joy back at Miami he took only two words to respond saying, “Probably not.” It could be indicating that his time at Miami might be over pretty soon. This sparked a response from his Heat teammate and veteran superstar Kevin Love who posted a video of the song “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” by Boyz II Men on his Instagram. But, his emotional tribute had to be taken down all too soon.

Mark Zuckerberg’s $71 billion platform Instagram removed Love’s video due to copyright laws. This further led the Miami veteran to post a story captionedIG Copyright Hating“. He criticized Zuckerberg’s platform for not letting the NBA star express himself. Well, Love has been ever-present in this Butler trade saga despite his post being taken down the 36-year-old soon posted a photoshopped picture of him, Jimmy Butler alongside Tyler Herro, and Sixer star Kyle Lowry.

And of course, the photo featured the same song which got taken down earlier. The Heat veteran has been on a roll today as he continues to find ways to keep matters light for the fans amid a serious staredown between the Heat management and Butler. Well, this is just one of Love’s antics on social media as the transfer lore keeps going on. Let’s take a look at one of his other posts.

Kevin Love joins in into a social media beef between an X user and Miami Herald columnist Barry Jackson

What’s your perspective on:

Is Jimmy Butler's joyless stint in Miami a sign of deeper issues within the Heat's locker room?

Have an interesting take?

Miami Heat veteran Kevin Love has been all over the social media space today. The veteran was seen posting photos and videos on Instagram and then jumping into a conversation as Jimmy Butler’s seemingly non-stop trade lore goes on. He’s made it clear that he’s picked a side but that doesn’t mean he resides with Butler or president Pat Riley.

The veteran NBA star got involved in a seemingly heated conversation between journalist Barry Jackson and an X user who is Butler’s close friend. The user accused Jackson of lying and falsely reporting the facts of Butler’s behind-the-scenes situation in Miami. To which he responded by “presenting both sides” as he is supposed to do.

Furthermore, he took a strong stance and told the user to “go back in your jock sniffing hole.” rather than questioning the journalist. Between all of this heat, Love wrote with his witty humor, “I’ve seen enough. Give Barry the max.!!” The irony of this is max contract is part of the reason why Butler’s trade became an option. This unsurprisingly caught quickly among fans who saw Love’s humor and appreciated him for keeping things light.
