The “Joker” has scored a triple-double against every single team the Nuggets have played against, which is every single team. The triple-double scored against the Wizards by Jokic was his first one ever against the team and with that first, he’s entered an elite league of players which includes LeBron James and Russell Westbrook to have scored a triple-double against every team in the NBA.

Since joining the Nuggets in 2014, Jokic led them to a historic championship in 2023, making them the current defending champions. It’s one thing to win a championship but it’s another thing entirely to defend the championship and do everything again. It’s clearly an exhausting experience, and it appears that the modern NBA has trended away from dynasties and multi-time winners in recent seasons. According to Cleaning the Glass, the Nuggets currently rank 10th in point differential, 12th in offense, and 12th in defense. They’re solid, but not dominant like last year’s +3.8 differential (ranked 6th). This year’s +3.5 differential lacks the early-season adjustments of Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr., as well as the late-season coasting.
In NBA history, only 22 teams have achieved back-to-back championships since 1949. While Jokic, Murray, and coach Michael Malone seem to have the right formula, the question remains: can the Joker lead them to another ring? Comment your thoughts below!
