The Golden State Warriors have put all their chips on the table. With their Big 3 of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson aging, the Warriors are trying to capitalize on the closing window of winning another championship. They made one of the biggest moves this off-season by adding Point God Chris Paul to their roster. Now, they are looking at the possibility of adding NBA Champion Dwight Howard to their stacked team. Howard reportedly attended a workout with the Warriors on September 18 in hopes of making his NBA return.

Frustrated by the leaked report, Warriors star Draymond Green cited MLK Jr. revealing his ?Dream?. His frustration comes 11 months after a video of him punching Jordan Poole during practice was leaked by someone in their own building.

Jason Dumas from KRON4 news reported that Dwight Howard wrapped up a 2-day interview with the Warriors and will be heading to LA to workout with Draymond and CP3. He also added that the veteran players from the team approve of the Center?s addition to the team, and the final decision could come out very soon. Frustrated with Dumas? leaked report, Draymond cited MLK Jr. in his tweet, ?One day, one day, everything won?t leak. One day. Good for you btw Jason. But one day, EVERYTHING won?t leak. I have a dream.?

Draymond Green?s disapproval of such leaked reports is justified as he was on the receiving end of the stick when the video of his altercation with Jordan Poole leaked last year. In the video, the veteran Warriors Center was seen punching the 24-year-old guard during practice. The leaked video went viral and led to internal clashes in the team. Eventually, Jordan Poole was traded to the Washington Wizards.

Dwight Howard?s role with the Warriors

Although the 33-year-old is frustrated with the leaked report, he will be happy about the possibility of Dwight Howard joining his team. The 3-time Defensive Player of The Year will provide solid defense and rim protection for Stephen Curry and Co. The Warriors are full of offensive weapons with Chef Curry, Klay, and CP3, but they lack bodies on defense.

Dwight Howard could be that defensive anchor for the team. He did the same when he helped the Los Angeles Lakers win a championship in 2020. The 8-time All-Star has not played in the NBA since 2022 and was part of The Taoyuan Leopards of the T1 League in Taiwan last season.
