Mother Nature can be both nurturing and unforgiving. Right now, the people of Los Angeles are facing the harsh side as their city burns. With properties destroyed and lives at risk, the community is still coming together to offer help and support. NBA superstar Anthony Davis has already made a significant impact with his generous gesture. Now, following his lead, the NBA WAGS have stepped forward to do their part in aiding those affected.

Wizards star Kyle Kuzma’s girlfriend, Winnie Harlow, shared an IG post from Airbnb on her story to raise awareness about the assistance being offered. According to the post, the $81 billion homestay company announced that they joined hands with the IG page @211LAcounty to support those who became homeless because of the devastating wildfire or were forced to evacuate from their houses. The Airbnb team has declared that they would be providing free emergency housing to the ones in need.

“Today, Airbnb committed to helping house an additional 25,000 people who have been impacted by the fires, including survivors, evacuees, first responders, and firefighters. The situation is devastating, and we’ll continue to do everything we can to support the Los Angeles community,” Airbnb officially stated.

Winnie expressed her gratitude for the kind of service Airbnb is providing with a folded hands and bandaged heart emoji. She wasn’t the only one to show support. Warriors forward Draymond Green’s wife, Hazel Renee, also shared the same post on her story. Hazel further thanked the firefighters who are going above and beyond to help thousands of people in the burning city, even at the cost of risking their own lives.

Meanwhile, Winnie requested her 10.1 million followers in another story to donate according to their ability. Be it with women’s sanitary products, hygiene items, towels, blankets, or anything else they could. While the ladies did their part, the Lakers center Anthony Davis also stepped forward with his generous donation.

Rohan Ali, the person affected, has been with the Lakers for quite some time as their videographer. Like the franchise’s head coach, JJ Redick, Ali’s house was also destroyed. But unlike Redick, Rohan doesn’t have the financial backup to provide his family with the necessities they urgently need to survive. So he organized a fundraiser that said, “Please help GAYLE & RASHEED ALI (his parents) rebuild.” Anthony Davis very kindly contributed $20,000 to the cause, which will surely be of tremendous help to the Ali family.

Besides Anthony Davis, his LA teammate Jarred Vanderbilt also contributed $4,000. With everyone stepping up to support such a noble cause and helping fellow humans in a difficult time like this, it certainly shows how big-hearted they are. And there’s no doubt that Davis is one of those people doing their part. After all, it’s as the saying goes, “Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire.
