Jrue Holiday’s franchise transfer is making quite the news. The point-cum-shooting guard was traded to Portland after landing Damian Lillard with the Bucks. Since then Holiday has been pondering possible destinations, topping his list was Boston.
Next, we know that ‘The Cage’ signed a deal with the Celtics for a year. Thrilled to be joining the club, the transition became smooth for the former Bucks’ star and has possibly turned tables in east.

Jrue Holiday opens up to the interviewers at his inaugural press conference as a Celtic sitting beside Brad Stevens. In a video uploaded by the NBA TV on ‘X’, formerly Twitter, Holiday reveals how he always wanted himself to end up in Boston. Ever wondered why?

“I mean, you just look at the r?sum?, right? You look at the history that this place has had, you look at the organization and everything that I’ve always heard about it. You look at how competitive they’ve been in the last five, six years and even before that,” Holiday stated. “So, ever since I’ve been into the league and before that, this has been a championship-caliber organization.”

While the Celtics look desperate for their 18th title, Holiday is looking optimistic in his new venture.
The Turn of Tables in the East!
Although experts and fans were convinced on the Bucks’ dominating the East this season, transfer market had some other plans. The acquiring of Damian Lillard made the Bucks’ roster one of the strongest. Lillard’s pairing with Antetokounmpo is running shivers down the spines of the opponent defenders. Their contenders from the East, the Celtics now seem equally or more strong with the star Point-Guard in their team. Not only the Eastern Conference, the Celtics now also have a genuine chance to clinch their 18th NBA title.
