The point guard joined Giannis Antetokounmpo after months of speculation over his future in the league. Following that, Jimmy’s first look ahead of the new season piqued everyone’s interest.

Describing his appearance as ?emo?, the 34-year-old caught stray from numerous NBA personalities. After the latest comments, Stephen A. Smith joined the list too.

Soon after arriving for the media day for the Miami Heat, the forward’s looks caught everyone’s attention. He put forward his message of “I?m emo,” with his style, as it received a mixed reaction afterward. Smith was no exception, as he at first mocked Butler with a poor initiation of his style before sharing his thoughts.

Later in The Stephen A. Smith Show, he?called out the NBA star, saying,?“I don’t know what the hell a ’emo’ is”.?The 55-year-old seemed to could not wrap his head around it as he exclaimed, “What is he doing?”. Stephen A. changed the tone instantly after that as he empathized, mentioning Butler was “going through a lot right now”.

After losing out to the conference rivals Milwaukee Bucks in the pursuit of Lillard, the Heat’s plan took a major knock. Smith indicated at how it might have unbalanced the emotional state of the 6-time All-Star. He then highlighted Jimmy’s previous season’s first look, which became a “league headshot”.

So, Stephen A. mentioned how this comedic appearance from him could turn out to be?“could be this year’s look all season long”.?The TV personality then took it a step further as he compared his looks to a drama character. He referred to it as “that dude from P-Valley,” while pointing out the similarities between them.

All in all, Smith did not hold himself back as he let his emotions run wild, just like Jimmy Butler. Amidst his harsh words, he put the spotlight on an important matter ahead of the upcoming season.

How would the Miami Heat cope?

The NBA finalists waited for months to land Damian, as it all went in vain a few days back. The 7-time All-Star’s wish to move to the East was fulfilled, but it made life difficult for the Miami side. They failed to improve much on their existing roster, putting the team in a tough situation.

With a few weeks still remaining before the start of the new campaign, the clock has not yet run out for them. With Butler in his mid-30s now, the franchise knows well how they need a few more new faces in the squad.
