The Golden State Warriors dropped the ball. Again. This time, it was to the 13th-seed Toronto Raptors. On paper, it should’ve been an easy win. Instead, a 9-point lead and a fourth-quarter advantage vanished into thin air. The final score? 101-104—a tough loss to an Eastern Conference struggle. But even in defeat, Stephen Curry didn’t miss a beat off the court. Instead, the Baby-Faced Assassin traded disappointment for smiles, meeting young fans and spreading a little magic their way.

Meanwhile, Steph dapped the Canadian rapper and Toronto native Drake. He was courtside, cheering for his home team, and surely enjoyed the game that ended with the Dinosaurs winning. Amidst the fabled odd beef with LeBron James, Drake is keeping his basketball fever high. Who knew Steph and Drake were such great friends?

But Stephen Curry’s little fan was a bit too special. Because, Canadian coach and content creator Arnold Henry’s son, Amarion might be the biggest Steph Curry fan. In all of Arnold’s Instagram posts he covers his son’s routines. The young boy excitedly fanboys over the 36-year-old superstar. Therefore, Curry had to meet him and he did.

Another fan hit the Raptors with a taunt: “Toronto we still ain’t forget about that fluke 2019 ring y’all won against us but it’s ok that’s the past 👍🏾😂😂😂.” Oh dear! That’s a hard hit! The Golden State Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals. It was Stephen Curry and Co.’s fifth consecutive finals and they were the favorites. But we know what the results were like and after a 6-game 4-2 result, the Dinosaurs won. However, that’s in the past, and maybe, wasn’t a fluke.

“Toronto always got love for Steph…worked on that shot as a kid here 👍🏽,” someone said. Despite the rivalry, there is barely anyone who doesn’t love Stephen Curry. He’s not just humble or grounded, but also a great sport. I mean, he could’ve clearly shoved away the idea of signing jerseys after losing the game vs. the home team in Scotiabank Arena, but he didn’t. Instead, he went around meeting his fans. Therefore, Toronto loves Steph, everyone loves Steph!

Curry very proudly says he’s a fan of his fans. So when a comment: “Lady: “He’s your biggest fan.” Steph: “yeah I’m everyone’s biggest fan.” 😂😂😂,” dropped it wasn’t surprising at all. He always stops by to meet his supporters. He’s always there for them and voices his thoughts openly. Remember when Curry revolted because his shoes that were meant for a young fan were being picked up by someone else? Yes, that’s the kind of dedication the 4x NBA champ shows for his audience.

Thus, amidst the highs and lows of the game that unfolded in Toronto, Stephen Curry’s love and affection for the younger generation didn’t fade away. Instead, he took his moment and gave his 10-year-old superfan a day to remember for a lifetime.
