NBA kids have become an attraction in themselves during games. A moment that went viral was when Draymond Green settled a fight between his daughter Cash and son D.J. It was an example of some of the values in the Green household. Now, into the new year, some other traits seem to be running in the blood. It’s fearlessness and resolve. And a proud mother Hazel Renee shared a glimpse of it in their four-year-old daughter.
On the first day of the year, Cash Green experienced what ice skating is like for the first time. Initially, she used a support apprentice to keep herself up. But not long after, the four-year-old decided to learn even if it meant falling. “One thing about it is she going to try it all. Love that for her!” Renee wrote with pride.
It showcased a video of Cash trying to skate on her own and even falling on the ice. Immediately after, she got right back up and gave it another go. Watching her courage filled the ‘Power & Money’ actress with pride. She boasted about her experience of watching her young daughter show resolution.

“I heard her little voice say wow like she couldn’t believe she fell lol! She popped right back up though! It was her 1st time out there… Cheers to all the Brave littles out there! May the parent always nurture and encourage them,” she wrote in her Instagram story sharing the moment.
It doesn’t look like she is going to quit. It is similar to how Cash Green helped her father Draymond Green through arguably the toughest time of his career.
When Cash Green helped Draymond Green get out of the darkness
Last year was emotionally challenging for Green. The Warriors star went through a string of incidents leading to harsh penalties. The worst incident of them all was his striking Jusuf Nurkic earning him an indefinite suspension. At the time the talks around him were discouraging. Some suggested it might be good if he took some time away from the game or even retire.

Not proud of his actions, Draymond Green revealed he went into the “man cave” for two days. The only person who knew about his whereabouts was his wife Hazel. However, that’s when his phone rang. Cash Green facetimed her father and proceeded to ‘pull him out.
For her, it was simply the desire to want to spend some time with her father. But for Draymond Green, that moment was “special”.
“[She] pulled me out into the yard and we played. And I’m not sure how much longer I would have sat back there, but I know it wouldn’t have been the 14th [of December]. It was special because I was just sitting back there in the dark listening to what everyone had to say,” the former DPOY told NBC.

The moment the 34-year-old stepped out of the ‘darkness’, it helped him get to a realization. “I realized I had to move forward that day,” he said. Since then, with the help of his lovely family and close teammates, Green has been able to manage his behavior on the court. While still living on the edge, his conduct is far better than last season and Green seems to be calmer.
Little did he know all that was needed was a little time with his children to do the magic.
