LeBron James crying over Draymond's words—Is the King losing his edge?

What better way to relax in the evening than with a glass of your favorite wine? After the stressful season for the Lakers and a joyous Olympics, LeBron James, a known wine connoisseur, seems to have deemed it right to gather a few friends for a relaxing wine night. From the looks of it, though, it was anything but “relaxing”.

We got a glimpse into how the impromptu gathering went as James posted a few photos on his Instagram story. Posting a photo of seven wine bottles (!), he tagged Draymond Green and his entourage of Maverick Carter and Rich Paul. Needless to say, the whole group walked away tipsy.

And who did LeBron blame for getting them drunk? Dray. Re-posting Carter’s story, where he tagged Green and wrote, “@money23green would NOT stop pulling out the major hits!!!”, Bron added his own twist. “He should be put in jail for what he did!” the ‘King’ humorously noted.

Not planning to go under on his own, the 4x champion pulled the Klutch Sports CEO to share the blame. Actually, Draymond shifted the entire responsibility to Paul. Sharing Maverick’s story, Green wrote, “Blame Rich!” While we are yet to understand what led Bron to humorously demand ‘jail time’ for Dray, it surely would be a treat for us if they shared the behind-the-scenes moments.

But there’s no doubt that the foursome had a blast. And the back-and-forth was all in good fun. Hilariously enough, it comes in the wake of another witty instance that happened a few days ago.

Draymond Green managed to move Agent James to tears

Yup, you read that right. Agent James reported for duty for further growing his tequila brand, Lobos 1707‘s popularity. One of his many investments, Lobos, has seen great growth. But as is true for the growth of any business, marketing is an important aspect. And when you have a globally recognized athlete, with a highly marketable name, why would you turn elsewhere?

An investor in Lobos himself, Draymond Green also made an appearance in the brand new commercial. The theme they adopted for the advertisement seems to also serve as a homage to the classic spy movie, James Bond. Including the iconic ‘My name is Bond, James Bond,’ line, but with his own name, the commercial shows James as a spy intentionally losing a poker game.

The ad then ends with Bron being told his next mission will also involve a partner. And who else but, Draymond Green is revealed to be the guy for the job. The news seems to have broken the man as LeBron laughs before immediately crying.

Although the Lakers legend looks miserable at having being paired with Green on-screen, its clear that the pair have an amazing relationship in real life.
