When LeBron James confronted Stephen A. Smith in front of thousands of Lakers fans, everyone thought this was the last time that the Analyst was taking a dig at James’ genes. But little did they know, it was just the beginning of a new saga. Stephen A. kept the buzz alive with his never-ending remarks, but then LeBron swooped in, stealing the show on the Pat McAfee Show. Score: LeBron 1, Stephen A. 1. So, how will this round be judged? Well, there are already too many judges in the league, and the first one was Draymond Green, who wasted no time calling out Stephen A. for his hypocrisy.

When the Warriors vet was asked to provide his take on the infamous beef by his co-host on The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis, he said, “I’m kind of sick of seeing it.” He didn’t too many takes on the matter but did share that he was confused by Stephen A.’s comments. Draymond reflected on a moment when Stephen A. had previously warned him about his behavior, saying, “I was a little baffled by Stephen A. saying that he was with a swung on Bron after he just kind of questioned me, saying, ‘When you talk like that, where I’m from, you get hands put on you.'” Dray took issue with Stephen A. using his basketball career and past on-court incidents as a way to criticize him.

“And he kind of did this whole thing of, like, trying to use my basketball career and things that have happened on the basketball court…. He wants to try to use that to try to use it against me for my next career,” Draymond explained. “I saw him doing that, and then to come out and do the very thing that you kind of tried to use against me, I thought was a little…contradictory to what you just did.”

Dray was confused by Stephen A. Smith’s comments. This came after Stephen A. Smith stated, “If that man would’ve put his hands on me. I would’ve immediately swung on him. Immediately.” While Smith had previously called out Draymond for his physical confrontations, which had caused him trouble in the past, now Smith was using the same thing against LeBron. Being closer to LeBron, he would have certainly chosen his side, but then again, he did justify his reasons. After Dray, it was Charles Barkley’s turn to judge– something unusual that he doesn’t typically do.

Charles Barkley clears his stance on the LeBron James vs Stephen A. Smith beef

During his appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Charles Barkley clarified that while he’s criticized people, he has never made personal attacks. He believes that part of his job is to tell the truth, but it should never be personal. However, what happened between Stephen A. Smith and LeBron James was worse.

Regarding the 4x champion’s visit to the Pat McAfee Show and his remarks about Stephen A., Chuck said, “LeBron is too big to be that type of bully.” The former player-turned-analyst further added, “I’ve always liked LeBron, but him being a bully, it turned me off, Dan.” Barkley then shifted his focus to Stephen A.’s reaction, stating, “I will say that Stephen A, the way he reacted was so lame and weak. And Stephen A is a good dude, man.”

Chuck believed that Stephen A. is a good person but felt that his response was not up to his usual standard. He explained that LeBron, being a “control freak,” knew exactly what he was doing when he confronted Stephen A. and went on the Pat McAfee Show. However, he also didn’t approve of how Stephen A. went to great lengths to make the situation seem worse than it was.

“You got the biggest star in the game. You probably got the biggest star on television. And they both look bad, in my opinion,” Barkley boldly claimed. “And what bothers me the most, they both good dudes. I don’t mind people who are an a—— looking bad. I don’t mind that at all. They deserve it. But Stephen A is a good dude, and LeBron is a good dude. But they both look really bad this week.”

Barkley feels that both LeBron and Stephen A. are good individuals and excel in their fields, but the way they’re dragging each other down just looks bad to him. Given how this feud is unfolding, it doesn’t seem like the end is near. Do you agree with Draymond Green and Charles Barkley’s judgments? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
