Damian Lillard had a surprise visitor amid his enduring sickness. Maybe it’s a much-needed antidote. Following the NBA Cup success, the Milwaukee Bucks fans haven’t seen much of the star point guard’s action. Lillard missed four games in a row, citing illness. Tonight, the Bucks faced the Brooklyn Nets without their two superstars, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Dame. Guess what? They suffered an embarrassing loss at home. However, Dame seems to have had a wholesome time.

It was because Lillard was visited by his superfan from Barcelona, Dani Olmo. FC Barcelona’s latest attacking mid-fielder came down to Wisconsin amid the Bucks’ rough patch and linked up with the star point guard. The duo didn’t just stop at meeting each other but also exchanged jerseys too.

Moreover, the jerseys had heartwarming messages written by both players. In the Bucks uniform presented to Olmo, Damian Lillard had written, “Much love + Respect Bro!! Keep being great! The time is yours NOW!!” and in response, the soccer star wrote, “Thanks for Inspiring me LEGEND”. 

Moreover, Olmo also presented a special sneaker to that star, which had both their faces embossed on it. They also exchanged a few words before swapping the jerseys. Looking at Olmo, Lillard said, “I appreciate you for showing love.” And, the soccer star added, “I have been following you for long time.”

In response, Dame said, “That’s love.”

Apart from meeting Damian Lillard, Dani Olmo also met Bucks’ ace shooter Khris Middleton. Not only that, he also presented him with an FCB jersey with a personalized message on it. Olmo ran across the field, hyped after scoring the goal, and pointed at his wrist, enacting the Dame Time celebration. The celebration which the Bucks star owns.

We have seen Lillard pull out the celebration whenever he sinks a three-pointer in clutch situations. Moreover, Olmo’s celebration immediately went viral on social media and also caught the attention of the Bucks franchise. Following that, the team shared a video compilation of both players performing the Dame Time celebration, playing it parallelly. And going by Olmo’s words, he has been following the guard for a long time. Hence, the celebration.
