As the league enters its last leg, the competition in the West has heated up, and the Timberwolves are one of the teams scrambling to lock down a postseason spot. But things took a hit in January when both of their key offseason additions landed on the injury list, leaving a noticeable dent in the squad. And as time heals, the pack is getting back the strength in numbers. A double delight is on its way, one of them being a positive update on Julius Randle. However, this time around, there’s no cinematic announcement for the big return like last year. It’s strictly business at this point of the season with the National reporter announcing it.
According to the reports of Chris Haynes, Julius Randle is making his return to the hardwood after a much-awaited 13-game absence. Yes, and that could be happening tonight. You read that right. After missing over a month, this will be a huge relief for the Minnesota side. But what led to the rule out?

Randle was ruled out due to a groin strain. And how did the team perform in his absence? During his absence, the team managed a 5-8 record. But now that he’s possibly coming back, the Timberwolves’ chances of winning might just get a nice boost. The 30-year-old has suited up 48 times this season and has been a strong presence in the starting lineup, averaging 18.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.

But hold on! That’s not the only good news for the franchise. Even Anthony Edwards is back from his suspension. This could mean that the franchise will have its usual lineup tonight. Now that the script has flipped, this could be a nightmare for the Suns instead. Or is it too early to say?
Timberwolves could have a new concern amid Julius Randle’s potential return
Anthony Edwards had to sit out the game against the Jazz on Friday after receiving a non-paid suspension for Thursday’s game against the Lakers. Unfortunately, the Ant-Man racked up two technical fouls, which led to his ejection from the game. To make matters worse, that also marked his 16th tech foul of the season. So, as per the league’s rule, it resulted in a one-game suspension. Now even that’s been served, but the miseries aren’t entirely over for the T’Wolves yet.

Turns out, the franchise hasn’t given the green signal for Edwards to take on the Suns tonight. For now, he’s listed as questionable. It’s his calf soreness that might keep him on the sidelines again. Before making a final decision on his availability, the team will monitor him.
