In a recent episode of Oddball with Amin Elhassan and Charlotte Wilder, the duo brought up one of Kevin Durant’s recent comments. Responding to a fan’s remark on a Bleacher Report post, KD wrote, “I’m not that interesting for a doc, I ain’t even joking this time.”
In the episode, Amin took it upon himself to celebrate KD. Immediately addressing Durant’s personality, Amin expressed, “KD, I appreciate your humility. It is one of the great factors that people love about you. You don’t walk around trumpeting your greatness. You’re comfortable within your own skin. You just want to play basketball.” Furthermore, the former Suns executive went on to deliver a nearly 90-second impromptu speech, showering Kevin Durant with appreciation.
Kevin Durant, aside from having one of the most unique player profiles, has rightfully earned his place at the top of the NBA. He boasts two NBA championships and has been named Finals MVP twice. In addition to his 2014 MVP award, he has claimed multiple All-Star MVP titles.
