A 7-time NBA champion made one such recent remark on Damian Lillard being unsuitable for the Philadelphia 76ers. Interestingly, he made those comments right after the Los Angeles Clippers pulled out from James Harden talks.

This has put Harden’s future in even more doubt, whereas Dame’s potential destination looks to get resolved with time. Amidst the uncertainties, the serial winner shared his thoughts on the entire scenario.

In the latest episode of the Big Shot Rob?podcast, Robert Horry himself reflected on an interesting three-way trade. He mentioned reading about it where the mock-up situation “sent Dame to Philly”.?Looking back on that, he stated, “That would be interesting,”?before voicing his concerns over the move.

The former Los Angeles Lakers icon highlighted,?“I don’t think Dame would work at Philly,”?expressing his skepticism. He showcased doubts over the move, as he wanted Tyrese Maxey to get more minutes under his belt. The 53-year-old pointed it out, saying, “Let Maxey get those minutes and get those touches”.

His statements came during an interesting phase of the off-season as Harden received a major blow. After weeks of talks around a possible trade, the Clippers have shied away from signing the point guard. At the moment, there is no clarity over his future in the league.

The 33-year-old’s future looks clearer now as the Eastern Conference side remained patient with their approach. The 7-time All-Star is thus on the verge of fulfilling his dream before the start of the season.

Harden’s situation just got worse as the LA side backed down. He has been vocal about not returning to the 76ers, but at the moment, no franchise is in for him.
