This has been an incredible week for LeBron James on and off the court. He became the only player in NBA history to surpass 39,000 career points in his last game. Off the court, King James donned a doctor’s coat and made the day of an elderly fan with their wholesome meeting. The Lakers’ Instagram account shared a video of LeBron paying a surprise visit to an elderly fan. The fan was overwhelmed by the surprise and could not hold back his tears while standing with the 4-time Champion for a picture.

LeBron shared the video on his Instagram story and wrote, “Thankful to be able to bring joy to families! Blessings.” King James has been a giving athlete throughout his career. He founded the LeBron James Family Foundation in 2004 and has been giving back to the community for two decades. The Foundation provides Akron area students with support and mentorship through the I Promise program. In 2018, LeBron also opened the I Promise School to provide quality education to the kids of Akron.
The King continues to defy Father Time

Every year, the NBA world sees countless analysts and critics who claim this is the year LeBron will fall to Father Time and lose his crown. The 38-year-old continues to prove them wrong by putting up incredible performances each season. He is playing some of the best basketball of his career in his 21st season, and what he is doing on the court is unprecedented. LeBron is averaging 25.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists as the oldest player in the league.

Even though LeBron’s athleticism and speed have not taken a major hit even at this stage of his career, he continues to evolve his game to adjust to his age. LeBron is shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc, which is the highest three-point shooting percentage of his career. This constant evolution of his game and how he takes care of his body is what has helped LeBron dominate the league for over two decades.
