Skip Bayless is one of the most aggressive and not-so-amicable NBA analysts out there who often criticizes Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Over the years, Bayless has raised his voice against LeBron on several occasions. Some of them apparently justify the 72-year-old’s animosity toward King James. However, the GSW player Draymond Green could not fathom more and clapped back at the ESPN analyst. The Warriors center admitted that the Bayless exaggerates while spewing hatred for LeBron James.

Replying to Bayless’ attacks on the Lakers forward, Green stated in ‘The Big Podcast,’ “The biggest hater outside the NBA is Skip Bayless, for sure … I hope I give him a soundbite for his show because it’s dying… For instance, like, there’s nothing [LeBron James] has done to give you something to hate on every single day.” Notably, Draymond Green himself was once a great rival of King James. During the 2016 NBA Finals, he tried to punch LeBron after he scored a basket intentionally. However, he could not do so. Later on, the Green-James friendship bloomed gradually after 2017, as the former admitted on Shaq’s podcast.

Apparently, even Draymond Green has come to terms with the Lakers superstar. However, Skip Bayless is not in any mood to move ahead with friendly handshakes. He has consistently destroyed LeBron’s accomplishments for years. Whenever someone heaps even a slight amount of praise for LeBron, Bayless goes after that person without any hesitation. It has been proved on several occasions. Some of the most prominent ones can be discussed further in the article.

5 Instances when Skip Bayless proved Draymond Green’s allegations right!

One of the most interesting men in sports media, Skip Bayless, can’t help but be himself when it comes to shrewd and provocative remarks against LeBron James. The one-of-a-kind hater always finds interesting ways to hate him from time to time. There are many such instances of which we’re bringing you the top 5.

Everyone else is GOAT other than LeBron

One of the most prominent instances of Skip Bayless’ pure hostility toward LeBron’s talent is from last year’s incident. NBA prospect Brandon Miller spoke his thoughts about the GOAT players. The first one on the list was Paul George, the second – LeBron James, and the third one was Michael Jordan. Interestingly, Bayless had no objection to Paul George, but the fact that Miller put James above Jordan on that list. “My issue with Brandon Miller… is that his statement presumes LeBron is better than Jordan. THAT’S what now makes me wonder about Brandon Miller.”

He used a weird way to explain why Miller was probably wrong in this scenario.

LeBron does not even deserve to be among the top five!

LeBron James is one of the most decorated players in the NBA. He has accomplished four NBA Championships, one NBA Cup MVP, one NBA Cup Championship, four NBA Finals MVPs, 20 All-Star game appearances, and two NBA MVPs. Someone with these many achievements can be easily listed on the top five list. But Bayless does not think so as he expresses his views on the show ‘Undisputed.’ “I’m looking at the top five, and I say there’s no way that LeBron James belong above, “ Skip commented on LeBron’s status as the top NBA player. On the contrary, he had Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, and Tim Duncan.

Bayless even went a step ahead to tell the world, that he still has LeBron on spot #9 after his 40,000 points achievement recently. He said, “Before 40,000 points I had LeBron ninth on my all-time list. After 40,000 points, I still have LeBron ninth on my all-time list”.

If you don’t suffer, you are not strong

Another instance of Jordan-Bayless animosity belongs to the 2014 NBA Finals. The Big Three from the Los Angeles Lakers were going against the San Antonio Spurs. However, the Lakers could not make it through and suffered a loss.

Notably, LeBron suffered a series of cramps during the game because of the AC system failure at the AT&T arena. While some blamed his workload at the time, others blamed the lack of hydration on him. But Skip literally skipped to another level, referencing Michael Jordan playing through his flu. Even though James did not have the flu, Bayless managed to bring in this anecdote to ensure he puts him down any chance he gets. But despite everything, James wasn’t one to back down. He still showed up to play in the finals minutes of the game, even though they lost later to the Spurs at home. It was then that Bayless said, “As Tim Duncan said, ‘We played through it.’ LeBron couldn’t. Let his team down.”

LeBron is not born with the “Clutch gene”

Just a few weeks ago, Bayless came back with yet another absurd comment against Bron. Despite shattering a record 40,000 points, for Bayless, James isn’t born with that “clutch gene” that other superstars possess.

As per Bayless, Bron deserves all the “bangs” that he keeps shoving his way. Even though he does great things, Bayless feels he just doesn’t have that edge to ensure his team is performing smoothly overall.

LeBron has not achieved anything extraordinary

Even the achievements of a team that has LeBron James do not fit well with Skip Bayless. When the Lakers were on the verge of winning the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, the NBA analyst referred to it as a “cake-walk.” Notably, the Lakers faced the Indiana Pacers in the finals matchup for the purple and gold jerseys. The Pacers have always been a formidable opponent, considering their position currently as a playoff finals team in the Eastern Conference. Yet Bayless did not acknowledge King James and Co.’s feat.

The list goes on, and Skip Bayless continues to go beyond hating for LeBron James. With so many instances, it feels like Draymond Green was right with his statement. The extravagance of criticism that Bayless builds up on LeBron is something that’s been going on for years. It might continue until the retirement of the Lakers star and may even last post that. Who knows?

But even though Skip Bayless continues to discredit LeBron, Leonard Armato, Shaquille O’Neal’s ex-agent had some wonderful things to say about him and his son. Check this video out!
