By now, enough has been said, analyzed, discussed, and dissected regarding Bronny James and his future. But it’s nothing new. It was a given that his life would be constantly under media scrutiny from the moment his father, LeBron James, was declared the ‘Chosen One’. It was something his mother, Savannah James, struggled with initially. She likes her privacy, but being the better half of a legend meant that was a luxury hard to come by. That did not mean that she wouldn’t shield her children from it if came down to the wire.

But Mrs. James has never been required to go to such extreme lengths, yet. Until now. Bronny James is going through one of the toughest periods of his life now. Although his family’s support and love make it a little easier, it doesn’t make him invincible. In such circumstances, James Jr. finalized his decision – he was entering the NBA draft and the transfer portal.

His mother wasted no time posting a sweet message for her 19-year-old on Instagram. She shared Bronny’s post on her story with the caption, “So proud of you!” followed by a kiss and heart emojis. Interestingly, though, in a 2022 episode of the Uninterrupted, LeBron and his wife talked about what they wanted for Bronny. Savannah had no doubts as she replied, “To be happy and find happiness in whatever he does. Whatever it is, I just want him to be happy.”

Clearly, Mama James isn’t worried about her son’s decisions. As long as they make Bronny happy, Savannah is happy. But her husband wasn’t exactly that open-minded. As soon as the question was posed, Savannah knew where this was going. And we can guess what his answer would be – to play alongside his son. His wife just started laughing the moment James said that.

Despite it all, the family truly only cares about Bronny James’ happiness.

How did the James family react to Bronny declaring for the NBA draft?

Savannah James wasn’t the only one who showed her support for Bronny’s decision. LeBron James shared his son’s post with a bunch of emojis that said what words couldn’t. A prince emoji, followed by a string of hearts, and a folded hand, showing his adoration for Bronny. But he didn’t stop there. A beautiful and heartwarming post that showed Bronny’s growth caught the King’s eye. Every picture was a father-son moment. The Dad in him couldn’t go past without sharing that one too.

As he said in the above Uninterrupted episode, the moment when he can stand next to his son in the NBA would be “unbelievable”. Bryce also showcased his support for his big brother sharing his post on his IG story. When LeBron said that the James family would support Bronny regardless of what his decision was going to be, this is exactly what he meant.
