The Golden State Warriors have been in the limelight throughout this preseason – beginning with ‘the punch’, then Draymond’s absence, followed by the famous trade of Chris Paul, and now the retirement announcement by the 39-year-old. After gracing several teams like the Philadelphia 76ers, the Denver Nuggets, the Miami Heat and then the Golden State Warriors, the player made a remarkable effort to help the Warriors win the 2022 championship.

Now, hinting towards becoming an owner, what’s in store for the legend?

Being 39 and witnessing a declining career trajectory, Andre Iguodala is now retiring from the NBA hardwood. Although the announcement was due last year, Stephen Curry convinced him to play the last season and then give his ankles a rest.

The four-time NBA champ and final MVP (2015), he retired as a Warriors veteran after assisting the game for six long years. Planning to run a venture capital fund, Mosaic-Andre is all set to call it quits. Well, Jordan Poole definitely has a fan in Andre, and the claims he made shocked even Stephen A. Smith.

Andre dogged the whole ‘punch’ issue and rather took the stage to highlight the playing tactics of ex-Warrior, Poole.

He said: “You know I am looking for Jordan P. to be one of the top scorers in the league, not just the east. We saw what he did in three-quarters the other night in New York. And you know All-Star year possibilities for Jordan Poole if they can get the wins to match up with the statistics.”

Poole has the chance to thrive with the image of a central figure, ultimately depicting that the Washington Wizards can build a team around him. After the ‘A new course and new classes’ statement, Poole has come up with yet another metaphor to describe the NBA franchise, which is crawling up to the podium.

A beautiful painting by Van Gogh, as was the game along with the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. However, what the new franchise possesses is just a blank canvas. The question that prevails is whether Jordan P. will use some bold strokes to take the team to the conference finals or not.
