Nothing went in favor of NBA superstar LeBron James during his Monday night clash against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t stand a chance against Joel Embiid and his men’s force. The Sixers dominated both ends of the court and maintained a steady lead through the course of game, produced a blowout 94-138 win. Apart from that, the King James had yet another setback, but this time, from the courtside. The Philadelphia Eagles superstar Jalen Hurts spectated the game, supporting the home side.

Hurts attended the Sixers home game, straight after his clutch OT win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The superstar gave a perfect reply to the crowd, which booed him and his side in the half time. He walked off with his arms wide open after the TD in overtime. Hours after the famous win, he was spotted in the courtside of Philly’s home game against the Lakers.

The 4x NBA Champion LeBron James has always had an opinion about football and often engages with his fans, sharing his NFL views via tweets. Notably, a few days back, he decided to use the rare off day of Thanksgiving to play Madden and tweet about it.

Moreover, when it comes to recognizing a talent in the field and appreciating it, James has always gone out of the way to do it. Similarly, in the list. he has shown his support to Jalen Hurts multiple times in the recent past. The superstar even called the Eagles’ star “Special” in one of his tweets.

Despite all the love for Hurts, the 25-year-old Eagles quarterback showed up for his home side game. ESPN’s official Instagram handle shared a video clip of Hurts acknowledging the crowd on the big screen amid a rousing cheer. Since he came off a famous win against the Bills, the IG post’s caption read, “Jalen Hurts at the 76ers-Lakers game fresh off the Eagles’ big OT win.”

On the other hand, James had a quiet game by his standards. He scored 18 points by the end of the 3rd quarter, on 8-12 shooting. However, the Sixers didn’t let the game slip away from them at all and ended up winning by 44 points.

James calls Hurts ‘Special’

During the 2022-2023 NFL playoffs, the Eagles had a great run. In fact, they reached the Super Bowl and unfortunately lost against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, in a playoff game against the New York Giants, Hurts displayed his masterclass and James wasn’t missing out on appreciating it. He took to his X handle, Twitter back then, and wrote, “Yeah they were saying anybody would look great at QB for the Eagles,” James tweeted. “Yeah okay. HATERS MAN!! Jalen Hurts is special.”
