R.J. Hampton might be in some big mess. A video shot by his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Jeffcoat has gone viral on the internet, where the NBA player was seen verbally abusing her.
In the video, the former couple argues in a hotel lobby with their son sitting on the floor. As per the caption in the video, Jeffcoat traveled 11 hours with the child just so the basketball player could see his kid. However, the interaction quickly turned derogatory as Hampton said to his ex-girlfriend, “Shut the f**k up talking to me b**ch. Please. I don’t care if you have me on recording. I could care less… What I’m afraid of as for who you are, like take it in and then fighting me off, ‘Oh my god, you’re abusing me.'”
Information about what led to this argument between the two is unknown.

However, further in the video, Jeffcoat revealed that the former Magic star had laid his hands on her in the past. “First of all, you have laid hands on me before…I’ve pictures of it.”
R.J. Hampton: “Get the f**k out of here with that stupid sh*t.”
A bit later in the clip, Jeffcoat was heard stating, “But they [bruises] came from your hand,” and Hampton responded with, “Of course they did. Did I punch you? Did I slap you?” Post this, their arguments about their son continued.

It is important to note that Jeffcoat recorded the video and posted it only on her TikTok account with the caption, “You wanna take my son??? Crazy cus he dont even know you.” So far, R.J. Hampton has not addressed the video.
In a follow-up video posted on her TikTok account, Jeffcoat shared, “It is now 7:26 PM. I have been sitting in the lobby since 2 PM and still no room, Halo’s still not back. Don’t know where he is. I hope he ate dinner… Poor thing has been up since 5 AM. His bedtime was an hour ago.”
Halo is Hampton and Jeffcoat’s son. The video angered the NBA community, and they took to social media to share their thoughts.
NBA World is livid at R.J. Hampton’s behavior!
Many social media users opined Hampton admitted to physical assault on Tiffany Jeffcoat and this left them fuming at the former first-round pick.
- “Her 2nd video he agreed with her about him leaving bruises on her body! Seriously lock him up.”
- “I’ve been waiting for this I had no one to talk to about this😭 I completely missed the abuse part though wtf… when did she talk about it? That makes me so sad I thought the cheating was bad but he actually needs to be in prison.”

- “YESS!!! The way he was talking to her is so disrespectful and disgusting! Poor baby Halo! I hope he’s well and safe. I can’t believe the police aren’t even helping!! That low life doesn’t even deserve to be in the NBA.”
While he is a decent player averaging 6.8 points in his career and was the number 24 pick only four years ago, the disturbing video might affect his future as a basketball player. Moreover, some fans were even livid about how Hampton talked about Tiffany Jeffcoat’s mother.
During the argument, the influencer revealed their son lived with Jeffcoat’s parents for a while and claimed, “My mom has been more of a parent to him than you have ever been.” But R.J. Hampton showed no regard for her mother, “I don’t care if you mom is dead or alive. Shut up.” And the player’s comment appalled several netizens.
